Check Your Cabinets!

Pharmacies and police stations throughout central New Jersey will be participating in the 15th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this Saturday, April 28th from 10am to 2pm.

You can help to reduce drug abuse by disposing of unwanted medication.

Did you know that drug overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the United States? The National Center for Health Statistics estimates that over 65,000 people died from lethal drug overdoses in 2016. You can help to keep drugs out of the wrong hands by properly disposing them at this annual event.

Drug take-back events are a great way to keep your old and unused medications out of the wrong hands, and are an important way to help reduce prescription drug abuse in your community. That's why Sunrise Detox encourages you to properly dispose of unused and unneeded prescription medications.
